What do we want to achieve by using the KLEOS brand?
Build a global platform for surgeon and medical professionals to share their knowledge, experience, and expertise. It includes face-to-face educational activities (eg, courses, hands-on workshops, and fellowship program), literature services, surgical techniques of peer surgeons, and an on-line educational platform for medical professionals.
What does the special „O“ mean?
The special “O” is the connecting circle which brings people together. It symbolizes as well the continually updating of information which is mandatory in our field of professionalism. The connecting circle as a symbol will be used as a watermark or in special circumstances.
What structure / legal identity is behind KLEOS?
KLEOS is part of Smith & Nephew. It is under the leadership of the Chief Medical Officer Peter Heeckt and Andy Weymann, VP KLEOS Global. It is a service organization to each of the different global business units to maximize the message to the orthopaedic surgeon. In all regions and in some countries KLEOS organizations will be established. These regional and local KLEOS groups will develop best practices and share their experiences in establishing the best learning services for the medical professionals.
