94° National Congress of the Italian Society of Orthopedics and Trauma
With an intense scientific program of lectures, instructional courses, symposia and live surgeries, the 94th National congress of Orthopedics and Trauma was held in Milan, at the Milano Convention Centre, from 7th to 11th November 2009. The event registered an exceptional affluence, Italian doctors crowded the exhibition area since the first day, even before the scientific sessions opening.

Presentation topics addressed the hip and knee revisions and mini-invasive techniques.
Smith & Nephew Italy: With a booth of 110 smq in a strategic position, Smith & Nephew presented the widest solutions in arthroscopy and revision, from biomaterials to wound care.
On Monday November 10th S&N proudly contributed to the Cad Lab session with a live surgery transmission from the Italian Cadaver Lab of Orthopedics (I.C.L.O.) in Arezzo, led by Prof. Giuliano Cerulli. The first cadaver lab facility in Italy was presented officially to an enthusiastic audience.
In 2010 Smith&Nephew will be a major sponsor of the Teaching Centre in Arezzo with a schedule of various trainings and Lab sessions.
KLEOS: KLEOS had a primary role in the event program, with a dedicated corner at the booth which was visited by many surgeons. The active co-operation of the KLEOS staff, local managers and sales resulted in a wide promotion of the KLEOS platform. During the congress 84 new surgeons registered on the KLEOS.md web site!
Italy in the Top 5!
Italy now belongs to the five highest users of the KLEOS website. Almost 300 surgeons registered on KLEOS.MD so far, accessing the website from nearly 100 Italian cities.
